Fuck I See Stars and fuck that “cover” of Can We Start Again. And if you honestly don’t see a problem with this Hot Topic band taking one of the hardest working and important band in Hardcore’s lyrics to turn a profit from screaming 13 year old Hot Topic kids, then fuck you too.

Also, don’t feel so honored that that fuck stick Frank from Emmure did vocals for that song. That dumb shit and his lame ass band is known for ripping off other bands and he had a clothing line basically glorifying the Columbine shooting. All he cares about is the hype, fame and money so how dare he say that song means anything to him. Fuck.

Happy Mothers Day to all you great wonderful amazing mommas out there!!! I hope you have an awesome day, you deserve it :)

AND to all you single fathers…stay strong, keep raising your kids and happy mothers day to you guys too!

i guess i missed the part of being Straight Edge where im supposed to be preachy, talk down to people with different life choices and shove my beliefs down others throats.

be Straight Edge for yourself. dont worry about everyone else, you fucks.

Sound and Fury

burritoburns:

A festival which has become a staple in the “hardcore” scene. Every summer hearing stories of my friends going and having the time of there lives seeing all of there favorite bands with there friends in California. It seems there is a hardcore fest that earns its spot on the calendar of each month that is a staple to a scene and community. But this year Sound and Fury announced a lineup that didnt sit well with many. “Dude, Sound and Fury is over, the fucking Ghost Inside is playing”.

I have never attended Sound and Fury but I have always wanted too. Especially this year, seeing such a broad spectrum of bands playing is awesome. Id say 90% of the bands playing I would have love to have seen, and even the other 10% I would have liked to see anyways. Fests arent about listening to every single band and enjoying them, or listening to every band and knowing who they are and what they are about. Fests are about going, seeing a shit ton of bands, and leaving wanting to listen to more of those kinds of bands or look up what bands you saw which you’d never listened to before and now you’ve fallen in love with them.

The thing that particularly pissed me off about this year, was the fact that people thought such a fest was over because a couple bands were playing that werent quite accepted by returning Sound and Fury patrons. I wanted to attend this year because of the diversity, the thought that a kid who is obsessed with The Ghost Inside would possibly go to this fest, see a shit ton of bands that he’d never heard of before, leave that fest and think “Wow, hardcore is cool. These fests are cool. I want to be involved in this.”. With the diversity of those bands, brings a new crowd of kids who may only listen to breakdowns, but who gives a fuck. 90% of you did the same thing. I did. I listened to bullshit synthesizer metalcore laced with breakdowns. But through that I’ve found myself in a scene, supporting my friends bands and all the diy hardcore stuff that comes with the territory. I acquired a taste for hardcore, and all that in involves.

Just remember we all started as a kid who was listening to bullshit, went to a show, decided we werent gonna listen to bullshit anymore and started going to more shows, house shows, and fests. We all end up in the same place. Supporting the same movement.

TRUE. except some of us didnt start with bullshit. some of us started with punk rock and our true roots :D

“white power” and all that 1488 neo nazi hitler bullshit doesnt belong on Tumblr. actually it doesn’t belong anywhere. go die.

Shut your face, I came back for the music.
